The AquaGuard surface features a proprietary nanoparticle coating that grips and holds the ink to lock images in place exactly where they are applied. While the AquaGuard surface is water resistant, it is recommended to protect the surface from colored liquids (such as coffee or soft drinks). White areas of the surface may stain with prolonged exposure. It is recommended to keep all optical discs, including AquaGuard discs, in jewel cases or other storage methods to protect the disc from day-to-day wear and tear and environmental deterioration.
